613605: DISTRICT 4- DISTRICT 6- VRU SYSTEMIC SAFETY PROJECT NEAR BUS STOPS New Project This line item is being added to the Boston Region TIP from the MassDOT STIP. The project improves conditions near bus stops for vulnerable road users. The improvements include building pedestrian refuge islands, installing flashing warning signs (RRFBs) or other signs, painting high-visibility crosswalks, and adding curb extensions and other items. Locations in the Boston region that would benefit from this project are within the communities of Burlington, Everett, Medford, and Revere. Statewide Highway: VUS $0 $1,741,890 $1,741,890
